Guidelines for Authors
Manuscripts must be submitted through our online submission portal (only in MS Word Format). Ensure that all author information is anonymized for the review process.
Full length articles provide the main content of the journal. Papers should demonstrate rigorous approaches to research and new knowledge creation, be well organized and written in clear English. The style of the paper should be a research article with a clear contribution to knowledge in the field. The recommended length of articles is around 8,000 words (range of 6,000-10,000).
Before you begin, ensure that the following items are present:

Publishing Ethics
The International Journal of Business and Innovation (IJBI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in publishing. We adhere to the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure integrity and accountability throughout the publication process.
Responsibilities of Authors
- · Ensure that submissions are original and free from plagiarism.
- · Properly attribute and cite all sources of data, ideas, and references.
- · Disclose any conflicts of interest and funding sources.
- · Refrain from submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
- · Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback on manuscripts.
- · Maintain confidentiality and avoid using unpublished information for personal gain.
- · Report any ethical concerns or potential conflicts of interest to the editorial team.
Responsibilities of Editors
- · Make fair and unbiased publication decisions based solely on the manuscript’s merit and relevance.
- · Ensure that all ethical issues, such as plagiarism or research misconduct, are thoroughly investigated.
- · Maintain confidentiality during the review process and avoid conflicts of interest.
Ethical Concerns
IJBI has a zero-tolerance policy for unethical practices, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate submissions. Suspected cases of misconduct will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate actions will be taken, which may include retraction of published articles or reporting violations to relevant institutions.
Consent Huaman Statement
If the work involves the use of human subjects, the author should ensure that the manuscript contains a statement that all procedures were performed in compliance with relevant laws and institutional guidelines and that the appropriate institutional committee(s) have approved them. Authors should include a statement in the manuscript that informed consent was obtained for experimentation with human subjects. The privacy rights of human subjects must always be observed.
Declaration of competing interest
Corresponding authors, on behalf of all the authors of a submission, must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work.
Declaration of generative AI in scientific writing
Where authors use generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process, authors should only use these technologies to improve readability and language.
Disclosure instructions
Authors must disclose the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process by adding a statement at the end of their manuscript in the core manuscript file, before the References list. The statement should be placed in a new section entitled ‘Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process’.
Submission declaration and verification
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Copyright
Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete a ‘License Agreement’.
Funding source
You are requested to identify who provided financial support for the conduct of the research and/or preparation of the article and to briefly describe the role of the sponsor(s), if any, in the study design.
Language
Please write your text in good English (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these).

Essential title page information
- · Title: Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formulae where possible.
- · Author names and affiliations: Please clearly indicate the given name(s) and family name(s) of each author and check that all names are accurately spelt. Present the authors’ affiliation addresses below the names. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name and the e-mail address of each author.
- · Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, as well as post-publication.
Abstract
The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions.
Keywords
Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 6 keywords.
Referencing and Citation Style
IJBI follows the Harvard Referencing Style.
Peer Review Process
IJBI follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published work. The review process includes:

Fees and Policies
Article Processing Charges: Accepted papers will be subject to an Article Processing Charges of USD 500 to cover publication costs.
Open Access Policy: IJBI provides free access to all published articles to promote the widest possible dissemination of knowledge.
